Creative Care
Intergenerational creative programs for the care sector
Creative Care aims to foster the creativity of older people. Vocational education providers are equipped with relevant resources and tools to offer suitable learning opportunities for individuals in the care sector. The goal is to raise awareness of the importance of participatory art programs for older adults.
Target group
- VET providers, educators, and trainers: benefit from access to Creative Care materials to improve workplace-related skills and adapt to the needs of the labor market.
- Healthcare professionals: social workers, activity coordinators, artists, and animators working with older adults are provided with comprehensive learning opportunities.
- VET learners and interested professionals: enhance their skills in intergenerational learning and participatory art programs through high-quality vocational education and e-learning.
- Multipliers: actors in the fields of aging, well-being, social care, performing arts, and vocational education networks who wish to learn about the benefits of professional skills in intergenerational learning and participatory art.
- Decision-makers: local, regional, national, and European leaders in active aging, well-being, and vocational education who want to benefit from project insights and recommendations.
- General public: informed about the importance and benefits of the intergenerational approach.
Project objectives
- Good Practice Guide & Recommendations: Vocational education providers receive a comprehensive guide that combines practical and theoretical recommendations.
- Training resources for Creative Care: Focus on intergenerational and participatory art practices.
Creative Care Online Toolbox: An online platform that provides training materials and e-learning units in a user-friendly way. - Information material and sustainable guide: Comprehensive information material along with a guide for the sustainable implementation of successful practices.
- Creative Care aims to improve the quality of life for older people in healthcare facilities through the use of art programs.
