European educational work implements projects at the European level. Through their work, they connect people and cultures to promote knowledge transfer, innovation, and international cooperation.
Current activities of European Educational Work
The projects of European Educational Work focus on the impact areas of ÖJAB: youth, (vocational) education, and care are at the center of attention.Since the 1950s, ÖJAB has been dedicated to European educational work, fostering international exchange and innovative projects that strengthen European networking and address contemporary social challenges.
Youth projects aim to further educate adolescents and young adults in various areas such as sustainability, entrepreneurship, climate protection, or digital know-how.
In the field of care, projects are implemented to support caregivers in their daily work, whether through digitalization or the provision of self-developed training programs.
Projects in the educational field offer, among other things, new and international input for teaching staff, as well as professional development programs on an international level.
ÖJAB's European educational work regularly hosts free international workshops and training sessions.
Over the years, a variety of projects have been implemented across Europe. Here is a comprehensive overview.
International Cooperation
To successfully implement projects, ÖJAB's European Educational Work regularly collaborates with partner organizations. Long-standing partners include the EVBB - European Association of Institutes for Vocational Training, and theYES Forum.
The EVBB is a non-profit network of more than 600 vocational schools, universities, and private organizations committed to making education a central part of life.
The YES Forum is a European network of organizations working with and for disadvantaged young people to contribute to a more social and inclusive Europe.
