Zug um Zug – Train to Europe

Redesigning Mobile Youth Work

The project Zug um Zug – Train to Europe aims to reshape mobile youth work by integrating mobility and non-formal education. This Erasmus+ project provides new approaches for youth work professionals and young people through diverse learning formats, helping them build essential skills while fostering a cross-border network. 

Project Activities

  • Developing a simulation game to help young people strengthen problem-solving skills during travel.
  • Creating a methods library for non-formal learning activities tailored to youth.
  • Conducting professional training sessions.
  • Organising a training and encounter week for young people.
  • Holding dissemination events in multiple countries.

Project Goals

  • Enhance digital skills and green competencies for professionals and young people.
  • Promote problem-solving and resilience through practical learning experiences.
  • Establish inclusive non-formal learning formats in mobile youth work.
  • Encourage youth networking and engagement in Europe.

Target Group

  • youth work professionals and educators
  • Young people with limited mobility opportunities, who may benefit from resources for personal development and networking.
