GreenCons
Living Consciously and Preventing Greenwashing
Companies love to advertise their environmental friendliness—but whether they actually act sustainably is often secondary. Green branding is effective and resonates well with consumers. GreenCons aims to counter this by training adults to better identify and expose greenwashing campaigns. As part of the project, an "Anti-Greenwashing" Handbook and training materials will be developed to bring greenwashing and trends in sustainability-related advertising claims to the agenda in vocational education and training (VET).
